What We Do

We only get paid to win. If we don’t think we can win we won’t waste your time or ours. But by referring your problem to us you do stand to win. Remember whatever we win you gain 90% after our fee of 10% ( for claims over $5000 ). For claims under $5000 our flat fee is $500 only if we win. We Win You Win.

How does it work?

We take control of your problem and represent your best interests. We strive to win your case aiming to reduce your debt or increase your entitlement to a payout. We handle any problem including insurance issues, banking issues, unexpected bills, energy bills, phone bills, warranty problems. If you can’t sort it out we will assess your problem and give you open and honest feedback. Working on a No Win No Fee basis you have nothing to lose but lots to gain. With companies becoming more and more complex to deal with we take the stress and worry out of negotiating for you. We are 100% on your side and handle each case as if it were our own.

What does it cost?

We do not ask for any up front payment. Once we win a case to the best outcome we think you could expect we will ask for payment. Our fee is 10% of the reduced debt(over $5000) you owe or 10% of the payout you receive (over $5000). For example, you win an insurance payout of $50,000 we earn $5000. Sounds like a lot but you stand to gain $45,000 more than if you handle the matter yourself and lose or give up. We may ask you to pay for something along the way. For example we had an insurance case where the insurer was only willing to pay 25% of the value of the claim based on “facts” presented in their engineer’s report. We recommended our client pay $600 for our own engineer’s report. It's your decision whether we do anything like this. The result? We increased the payout from the insurer from $10,000 to $40,000. Money well spent. Remember, apart from cases such as the above we work on a no win no fee basis. We will never suggest you spend any money unless we are almost certain it will resolve your case. You can always decide to go forward without our recommendation. It’s your case and your call. Of course if we aren't successful you can always take the matter further. Even if we win you a small claim of $1000, after our fee you are still $500 better off just for referring the matter to us and providing information. We will take the stress out of a stressful situation for you. If the insurer or other company calls you you simply tell them to speak to us as you representative.

Why should you refer your problem to us?

Past performance. We have a 100% success rate to date. We don’t take on cases we don’t truly believe we can win. There’s no point wasting your time and ours if the case is not negotiable and we will tell you that. Remember though that what looks impossible to you may be possible to us and you will be 90% better off if we win anything at all.

What we ask of you.

It is imperative that if we are going to handle your case you are 100% honest with us and give us all of the facts of the case to date. We cannot win if we cannot fight with facts. We will ask you to give us authority to speak to your insurer or Telco or whatever company you are having a problem with. That may be verbal or written authority depending on the company's wishes. We then ask that you refer all contact from that company to us for discussion and that you do not discuss the matter any further with them. That includes correspondence from them by mail, email or telephone calls or texts. If we need to represent you at VCAT, QCAT, Fair Trading, the Ombudsman or any other official tribunal we must have all of the facts to strengthen your case. If you discuss anything with them and say the wrong thing you could damage your own case.

How long does the process take?

That will depend on your case. The truth is it can take a week or months. There are laws allowing companies certain time frames to resolve complaints. We even find some companies who have complete disregard for those laws and simply refuse to respond. Those matters usually end up with the Ombudsman or VCAT or similar. Whilst this is frustrating for both our clients and us in the long run it’s all about the outcome. You may have to wait 2 weeks or 6 months for a payout but consider that we may gain you $30,000 that’s not a bad return for waiting six months is it? Not all cases will take that long. We recently resolved an issue with a council over a subdivision. We reduced the client’s costs by around $25,000 with two well worded emails over a period of one week. That was a great, quick result!
